Lives in İstanbul, she graduated with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and continues her practice across architecture, design, research, and art-making.
“My work is a physical manifestation of my reactions to information, my responses to big questions, and the results of my research. I operate on curiosity and pursue what interests me. Often, these concepts exist in dualities: body and decay, domesticity and exposure, data and surveillance, politics and memory. These pursuits often lead to an exploration of the boundaries of material and perception. I am deeply interested in disbelief and confusion, often aiming to achieve them through dissonance and the pleasure that some derive from it.”
